This was our cat, "Poe". A mix of Siamese and Domestic and he was refused being kept by the breeder. We lived in Utah briefly, my home is in Massachusetts. Planning the move back to Massachusetts, we flew home to Boston and had my elderly parents (Mom was 83 years then) to care for Poe since we had a dog to take w/us on the final flight back. My Mother phoned me one morning and said, "Diane, I have something to ask you. Daddy and I have fallen in love with Poe, is it possible we can keep him with us? Since Poe was originally owned by my partner, I asked him, and he said, "Absolutely!". Poe is one of a kind. Very affectionate, loved people, never snarled or scratched anyone, and understood human language so well. Then, my Mother passed away in February 2012, and Poe became my Father's best friend. We took my Dad in to live with us over 2 years ago, and Poe came, as well. Poe followed him everywhere. Beautiful "Poe" was such a Blessing to both my parents. I'm having a mug made for my Son-in-Law who now has Poe, as he has fallen in love with him, as well. It will be one of his Christmas Gifts.
