Description
'Between the Woods and Frozen Lake".....Title is taken from the words in Robert Frost's Poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". .... I used a 'dry brush' on most of the painting, on the landscape, I used 'looser' paint. I've included several variations in Hues and Saturation............A NOTE: SHOWTIME's "On Demand" New Series called "Ray Donovan" contacted me. Three (3) of my Pieces will be SEEN on the Television Series (in Ray Donovan's home on the set). "Between the Woods and Frozen Lake" is one of them! Also "Boston's Skyline" and "Reflections"............. I'm delighted they chose my work!

Thank you ALL so very much!...I'm letting you in on a 'secret'..THIS is the ONLY SMALL PAINTING I've ever done.....Less than 7" all sides! I painted on Canvas with Oils. Did some thinking...and thought I try a SMALL Painting..Most of my work is LARGE....(It reminded me of the Robert Frost Poem'.."Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening"...."Between the Woods and Frozen Lake, the Darkest Evening of the Year".........(I changed Hues for a variety)...it really 'worked up' quite quickly. It was 'one of those' surprises To Me! Happy New Year and God Bless You All!
