Artist's Description
I was commissioned to paint 4 very large paintings of Rabbits on the doors of a large armoire for a well known Boston Publisher. She did NOT want the Rabbits pent it...so the Rabbits found an empty shed to relax! Since she was a Publisher, I had to have 'books' on the shelf. One is titled "Caring for Rabbits". I did research regarding a rabbit's habitat and what they eat, etc., which is why there is an 'ivy plant' on the shelf. The medium I used for this project was acrylics. (The shelf doesn't exist, it's painted in.)..Trompe L'oeil

Hi! I'm the Artist! This Painting adds a Huge "Wow" Factor to just about any room! I receive so many compliments on it! I love Rabbits! Actually, all animals! (Original is painted on wood.) Trompe L'oeil, the shelves, the weathered wood behind the rabbit, all painted. If you look at the binding of the book entitled "Caring for Rabbits", below that is the date I painted this "2012".
